OUR PROGRAMS
MOBILE HEALTHCARE UNIT – HELPAGE INDIA
HelpAge India's Mobile Healthcare Unit (MHU) program is dedicated to delivering quality primary healthcare services directly to underserved communities. The program is now operational across seven states of Assam, Orissa, Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh. These MHUs provide free consultations, diagnostics, and medications to the disadvantaged communities.

RIVER BOAT CLINIC – KARUNA TRUST
The Boat Clinic Project is a dedicated healthcare initiative designed to provide critical medical services to underserved populations residing on the Brahmaputra River islands. Staffed by trained medical professionals and equipped with a day-care ward, mini operation theatre, diagnostic lab, and a pharmacy, the project aims at improving health outcomes and quality of life for these isolated communities.
GIFT OF HEALTH FOR TRIBALS – JAN SWASTHYA SAHYOG
The Gift of Health project prioritizes improved healthcare accessibility for tribal communities in Annuppur block of Madhya Pradesh. This initiative expands medical facilities and services to remote and underserved regions, reaching near-extinct tribes and ensuring essential healthcare resources for these marginalized populations. Effective partnerships with local health authorities, community leaders, and ASHA workers ensures a sustainable and impactful approach to drive sustainable healthcare solutions and improved health outcomes.
SWASTHYA SAKHI PROGRAM
To help improve access to affordable screening and diagnostics so as to support Primary Health Centres (PHCs) at remote / underserved locations.

YES TO POSHAN
Malnutrition is a complex public health problem with intergenerational repercussions.
High levels of malnutrition among children in India can be highly attributed to the poor nutrition of women before and during pregnancy. This program was conceptualised to help address the urgent need to ensure adequate nutrition in women and children in Andhra Pradesh.

GIFT OF HEALTH PROGRAM (CHILDREN)
An estimated 2,60,000 children stay in childcare institutions (CCI) in India with only a small percentage getting adopted.
This program is aimed at improving children’s health & hygiene conditions at the CCIs towards ensuring a good base for development of children.

MATERNAL AND NEWBORN HEALTH FOR THE URBAN POOR
Most Public Healthcare Centres (PHCs) are increasingly unable to cater to the burgeoning numbers. Towards improving access to affordable diagnostics for underprivileged pregnant women in urban communities, this program has been conceptualised.

XOTEJ JEEBAN – THE ANAEMIA REDUCTION PROJECT
As per recent health reports, over 68% of children aged 6-59 months, 54% of pregnant women aged 15-49 years, and 67% of adolescent girls aged 15-19 years are anaemic, in Assam. To help towards curtailing the further widespread of anaemia, this program has been developed.

P&G Health employees across India joined the country in celebrating Daan Utsav i.e., India's biggest Festival of Giving.
During the week, employees indulge in different acts of giving! Each day of the week was dedicated for donating items viz., stationery, sanitation, nutrition, and clothing.
At P&G Health, we always strive to create a positive impact on society through CSR. We recognize the immense challenges faced by communities affected by disasters and are committed to contributing to their relief and recovery efforts.
Through our CSR initiative, we aim to provide vital assistance, resources, and support to help affected communities rebuild and regain their strength in times of crisis.
In FY 23-24, we supported with survival kits for the flood affected victims in and around Chennai.
The SEHAT Squad comprises of passionate employee volunteers who work closely with the CSR Team.
EXTERNAL ACCOLADES
P&G Health India’s CSR program SEHAT bagged the Gold Award under ‘Public Health Initiative category at The India Health & Wellness (IHW) Award 2021, supported by NITI Aayog.
Communications team won the Public Health programme of the year for our SEHAT CSR initiatives at the Indian CSR awards 2021.
P&G Health India's CSR initiative SEHAT bagged the Silver Award for Public Health Initiative of the year at the 8th edition of the India Health & Wellness (IHW) Awards, supported by NITI Aayog.
SEHAT bagged 2 Awards, Best CSR Impact Award for its Swasthya Sakhi Program and Best Innovative CSR Project for its PHC Cares: Solid Waste Management Project with pharmacies, at the 7th edition of the CSR Summit and Awards 2023.
SEHAT bagged Award for Best CSR Project of the Year for its Yes to Poshan Program at the 10th edition of the CSR Summit and Awards 2023.

PHC Cares - Responsible pharmacy waste segregation and management
As a responsible healthcare company delivering high quality products with superior packaging, we also have a role towards our environment.
Raising awareness among pharmacy owners and staff members on responsible waste segregation and management of pharmaceutical waste is an important step towards this.
In partnership with
Contribute to environmental sustainability in healthcare, through the propagation and promotion of responsible healthcare practices. This was executed via on-ground awareness campaigns for pharmacy owners and their staff on appropriate methods for waste segregation.
P&G Health is committed to responsible waste segregation and management through a one-of-its-kind partnership with our health partners.
To educate pharmacies and help them with their waste disposal, a pilot project was initiated for sustainable waste segregation and management, at 20 pharmacies in Delhi.
The project was further extended across 5 cities - Delhi, Kolkata, Patna, Coimbatore and Hubballi. A total of 120 pharmacies were engaged through this initiative.
The program promoted sustainable waste management practices through an on-ground awareness campaign for pharmacy owners and their staff on the need and appropriate methods of segregation, disposal, and recycling of waste material in a responsible manner.

Public Health Scholarship Program (SEHAT Scholars)
India requires a massive public health workforce which can complement medical caregivers; supporting them to use limited resources efficiently, assist in better implementation of health policies and promote healthy behaviour.

To help build a Public Health Cadre and address India’s complex set of existing and emerging public health challenges.
P&G Public Health Scholarship program supported deserving students from socially & economically deprived communities seeking to pursue ‘Master’s in Public Health’ (2 years on campus) across PHFI’s IIPH (Indian Institute of Public Health) Institutes.
In FY 23-24 the scholarship program supported 83 talented and motivated young scholars across 5 IIPHs. A total of 284 scholars benefitted through this program, since its inception

SCHOLARSHIP FOR WOMEN IN HEALTHCARE
Representation of women in sales across the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry is low on an average. One of the initiatives under the capability pillar of ‘SEHAT’ is promoting women representation and participation in healthcare industry through efforts across recruitment, career planning and development, inclusion, and safety.

The program supported girl students pursuing pharmacy courses by covering their academic costs and providing them with mentoring on the side.
P&G Health has extended its scholarship and mentoring program to over 44 deserving female students pursuing pharmacy courses across Maharashtra and Telangana.
As part of our ongoing initiative to enhance educational infrastructure in villages surrounding our manufacturing site in Goa, P&G Health successfully upgraded 6 classrooms, a library, science laboratory, and sanitation facility at a school in Usgaon village.
